The Power of Thank You
Today I truly want to make my husband smile for real for real! LOL Yesterday he was scheduled to work. My husband is a paramedic and works long hours to take care of his family. After church service, we usually get something to eat and hurry back home since he works on Sunday evenings and needs his rest. But yesterday, he called off to spend time with his family and I was filled with gratitude.
See I could've went LEFT (and have in the past...like last week!! lbvs đ¤Łđ) and said "bout time you sacrificed for your family, I'm always calling off or stopping what I have to do so I can be a wife and a mother so it's about doggone time, you stepped in line", but I didn't I just said, "Thank you for this. I know it's a sacrifice and I love you!" He was happy and we had a wonderful family day yesterday.
So today, just say "Thank you" to your husband. We thank God every morning for waking us up and putting breath in our bodies, but now it's time to thank our husbands and make them SMILE.đ
đWhen he wakes up, say "I just want to thank God for waking you up so you can be the leader of this home" "I thank you for being here with me."
đWhen he goes to work, say "Thank you for going to work even on the days I know you don't feel like it, but you do."
đIf he's not working, say "Thank you for your strength and faith during this time. I know God has a plan for you and I'm here."
đ"Thank you for the amazing way you rocked my world last night." "Thanks babe, for taking out the garbage." "Thanks for cleaning up."
Now ladies, don't get in your feelings.đ It may seem like they don't appreciate it, but trust me your husband will love to hear "Thank You". God loves to hear "Thank You". Heck, WE love to hear "Thank You"!! So even if he's not smiling outwardly (honestly, my husband doesn't smile a lot), he's smiling internally. Don't get caught up on outward expressions a lot, but know and have faith he's smiling on the inside and his love is growing more and more for you.
